： These are the routes recommended by Enkouji Temple during the busy tourist season.

By city bus

From Kyoto Station, take the No. 5 city bus bound for Ginkakuji/Iwakura, get off at Ichijoji Sagarimatsu-cho, and walk about 7 minutes

Take the Karasuma subway line, get off at Kokusai Kaikan, take the No. 5 city bus bound for Kyoto Station, get off at Ichijoji Sagarimatsu-cho, and walk about 7 minutes

By train

Take the Keihan railway line, get off at Demachiyanagi Station, transfer to Eizan Electric Railway, get off at Ichijoji Station, and walk about 17 minutes

By taxi

Approximately 12 minutes from Demachiyanagi Station on the Keihan railway line [Fare: Approx. 1,500 yen]

Approximately 15 minutes from Kitaoji Station on the Karasuma subway line [Fare: Approx. 1,800 yen]

By car

Via the Meishin Expressway
